Welcome to the 15th Annual Rushmore Honda Cougar Classic.

This basketball tournament is for boys and girls in 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grades.

The tournament is held at South Middle School and West Middle School Community Gyms with up to 6 courts playing at one time.

Entry deadline is November 27, 2009. Registration fee is $135.00.

Each team must provide a score keeper or timer.

Tournament Rules

1) Regular High School rules will be used, unless otherwise noted.
2) Players must compete at their own grade classification, with the exception that lower grade participants may play up. PLAYERS CAN PLAY ON ONE TEAM WITHIN THE SAME DIVISION

3) All teams must have uniform shirts with visible numbers.
4) Free throws will be shot. (Bonus on the 7th team foul and 2 shots after 10 team fouls each half).
5) 3 Pt shots will be used on courts that are properly marked.
6) Substitutes on dead balls only.
7) Overtime wil be 2 minutes with the clock stopping, one time out per team in overtime.
